Xuemeng Wu

LMHC
Psychotherapy Supervisor

Xuemeng “Charlotte” Wu is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who serves as a clinical supervisor for pre-licensed therapists at Lemonade Mental Health. In her supervisory role, she supports developing clinicians in strengthening their clinical skills, building confidence, and growing into thoughtful, culturally responsive therapists.

Charlotte brings experience working with adults navigating identity, relationships, work and school stress, family expectations, burnout, self-esteem, and major life transitions. She has particular experience working with international students and clients from multicultural backgrounds and understands how culture, family, identity, and the experience of living between different cultures can shape mental health.

Originally from China, Charlotte has personally navigated studying, working, and building a life in the United States. Her professional training and lived experience inform a supervision style that is warm, collaborative, and supportive while also offering thoughtful, constructive feedback. She encourages pre-licensed therapists to deepen their clinical judgment, develop greater self-awareness, strengthen case conceptualization skills, and find their own authentic therapeutic style.

Her clinical approach is integrative, drawing from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches. In supervision, she helps clinicians connect theory with practical interventions while maintaining strong therapeutic relationships, appropriate professional boundaries, ethical practice, and individualized, client-centered care.

Outside of her professional work, Charlotte enjoys practicing gratitude, staying active through yoga and group fitness, and visiting museums, which help her stay grounded, curious, and present.
