Xuemeng (Charlotte) Wu, LMHC
My name is Xuemeng “Charlotte” Wu, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin. I work with adults in early to mid adulthood navigating identity, relationships, work/school stress, family expectations, burnout, self-esteem, and life transitions. I also support international students and clients who may benefit from therapy that is culturally attentive and bilingual.
As someone who has personally navigated studying, working, and building a life in the U.S. after moving from China, I bring both professional training and lived understanding to my work. My style is warm, attentive, and collaborative, while also active and gently challenging when helpful. I offer thoughtful, constructive feedback and support clients in exploring patterns, clarifying emotions and needs, and making choices that feel more aligned with who they are and where they want to go. My approach is integrative, drawing from person-centered therapy, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe therapy is not only about understanding and naming the struggles we carry, but also about learning how to respond with more awareness, choice, and self-compassion. Together, we can build coping tools and work toward perspectives that feel more grounded and true to you.

Katherine Hayden
Katherine (she/her/hers) is a Master’s of Clinical Social Work (MSW) student intern residing in Massachusetts. She is in her final year of her part-time degree program at Boston University and has interned previously both in outpatient as well as in-home settings. Today, she predominantly works with adults, couples, and enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ community. She has worked with a diverse array of clients across lines of identity and ability. Katherine’s clinical background includes supporting individuals experiencing challenges with stress, adjustments to change, interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, developmental and neurological differences, and searching for meaning in life. She also aids couples in cultivating effective conflict navigation, communication skills, commitment, and trust. Katherine acknowledges the many ways our larger society and the systems we live in exacerbate mental health hardships. Given the high pressure, hurried, achievement-driven dominant culture many of us contend with, she knows it can feel impossible to find your way without help. Katherine is passionate about empowering her clients to give voice to their internal experiences, find stability in present moment mind-body awareness, define their own life’s values, and live them out in meaningfully human ways. To inform her work, she uses a range of theoretical frameworks such as ACT, CBT, DBT, MI, and the Gottman Method (couples). In her free time, Katherine enjoys being outside, engaging in almost any artistic expression, and connecting with her community.
